Vision Statement

• Challenge Denominational Traditions - “We are a Church Without Walls”

The challenge is to be biblical rather than traditional.  As we investigate the Truths of the Scriptures you will recognize that God has ordained this ministry to be so.  We believe that you have the right to choose to operate in the Gift of the Holy Spirit.  Additionally, because the Spirit offers these gifts to the believer without regard to gender, we affirm women in ministry.  These roles include women as pastors, teachers, evangelists, prophets, and apostles.

 

• Worship Experiences - “We worship Him in Spirit and in Truth”

The commitment to a worship environment, which allows the Holy Spirit to flow in its fullness.  Praise and Worship leads us to the very throne of God where healing, deliverance, miracles, breakthroughs, and life changing power are available.  Through Corporate Praise we experience jubilation of being one with the Body of Christ.  Corporate Worship allows the believer to enter the Holy of Holies to personally commune with our Most High God.

Community Outreach

We have a commitment to the community to reach them through feeding the hungry (food drives, etc...), clothing the homeless, educational programs (G.E.D. Programs, Computer Literacy Classes, etc...), alternative programs and services (Community Block Party, Fun Festivals - instead of Halloween celebrations, etc...), revivals, etc...

Educate, Equip & Evangelize

The Vision to Educate, Equip, and Evangelize involves every aspect of our Movement.  We have Christian Education Classes, Ministerial Training, and we have the Prophet’s Institute for believers to obtain the knowledge to become equipped to do the work of the ministry.  We will have an accredited school of ministry.  Our goal is for each member to be equipped to exercise his or her Spiritual Gifts so that the Body operates as one with Christ as the head.  We must be actively engaged in ministering to the lost, the good news of Jesus Christ.  This will be done by street witnessing, ministry campaigns, mailings, Internet, Radio, T.V., and by capitalizing on media technological advances.

 

Birthing Churches - “The Apostolic Mantle”

This ministry has an apostolic mantle laid in the foundation.  One that shall start, organize, and bring forth new churches and ministries from Blow Your Trumpet H.D.R. Ministries.  God has spoken and said that there will be churches in other cities and states, as well as worldwide ministries that are apart of BYT.  We shall birth sons and daughter’s, not bastards, into the Body of Christ that will evangelize to this dying world.  (Isa. 43:5-6). 

 

We are to train up pastors, prophets, evangelists, teachers, and apostles and let them go and minister to others- spiritually, emotionally, and physically.  This body is to be a true refuge to the downtrodden, oppressed, and less fortunate: a place where they can be strengthened and healed.  It will also be a sanctuary for needy leaders and ministers who will feel secure in seeking refuge here.

 

We will be a church on the front lines, a prophetic people who will be equipped, bold and unwavering about what the Spirit wants done in these last days.  Many spiritual fathers and mothers will be raised up to heal and disciple others to go out – people prepared to evangelize, to prophesy, to heal and deliver, to address the every day issues which deceive naïve Christians and the lost as well.

 

This will be a church where the uncompromising word of God goes forth to affect the kingdom of God in the city, the state and this nation.  Teams will be sent out to heal and train others to do the kingdom work even across national boundaries.  The impact will be felt in already established churches, as well as in the far reaches of the foreign mission field.

 

We are to be a lighthouse to our community and a beacon of light in the city along with sister churches, with whom we will take the city through working hand-in-hand.  This will involve the combined anointing and efforts of the churches and their members in a Holy Spirit orchestrated effort – crossing cultural, racial, denominational, and gender lines.

 

Our Statement of Faith

 

• We believe in the Triune God – the Eternally Self-Existent, "I AM", the Creator of heaven and earth and Redeemer of mankind manifested in three persons; Almighty Father, Divine Son and Holy Ghost. (Genesis 1:1, John 5:7, John 1:1, 4:24, Matthew 10:20, II Corinthians 3:17-18).

• We believe in the Bible as the inspired, infallible Word of God, inerrant in the original autographs and the only rule of faith, guide for practice and indisputable and ultimate authority of the Revelation of God, His Will and His Way. (II Timothy 3:16-17, Psalms 19:7-11, 2 Peter 1:16-21).

• We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, the incarnation of the Father, born of a virgin, every God of every God for, and by whom all things were created (I John 1:1-10).

• We believe in the substitutionary atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ, that He, by the grace of God tasted death for every man and that all must be born again through faith in Him or are forever lost.  Redemption is accomplished by the cross and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, by grace through faith, believing in the heart that God raised Him from the dead.  Salvation is by Jesus Christ and none other for God has highly exalted Him and given a name, which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, earth and those under the earth.  We further believe that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father.  (Hebrews 2:9, John 3:1-18, John 6:44-49, Ephesians 2:8, Romans 10:9, Philippians 2:9-11).

• We believe in the physical resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and that He ascended bodily into the heaven and is now at the right hand of the Father as our Mediator, Intercessor, High Priest and Advocate. (Acts 3:12-26, John 20, Hebrews 9:24, I Corinthians 15:12-28).

• We believe in water baptism and Holy Communion – The Lord's Supper as one of the ordinances of the church to be observed as public declaration of salvation through Jesus Christ and the commemoration of His death, burial and resurrection in victory over satan, death, hell and the grave.  Water Baptism will be done in the name of the father, son, Holy Spirit, and in Jesus name! (Matthew 3:11,14, 26:26-29, Luke 22:17-23).

• We believe in the personal, visible, imminent return of Jesus Christ both for His Saints and with His Saints in reign to victory. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18, Corinthians 15:50-55, Revelation 19:19-20, 20:1-6).  

• We believe that all Christians should pay tithes and make free will offerings.  We    also believe that our Church members should pay all of their tithes into the Church where they are receiving their spiritual food.  (Lev. 27:32, Prov. 3:9, Mal. 3:8-10, 2 Corith. 9:6-7)

• We believe in the authority of the believer over the enemy satan and the victory to be gained by the exercise of that authority in the areas of deliverance, healing and holiness. (Ephesians 1:20-23, 6:10-7).

• We believe in the personality and reality of satan as the enemy of the Kingdom of God, Saints of God and of the Lord; and in his ultimate defeat by the Lord Jesus Christ and potential defeat in the lives of spirit filled believers clothed in the Armor of God.  (Revelation 12:9-10, Matthew 4:2-11, Isaiah 14:12-17, John 8).

• We believe in the perpetuity and continuing ecclesiastical value of all spiritual gifts for the edification of believers and the Body of Christ until the end of this church age is consummated by the glorious event; the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 12:14, 13:10, Romans 12:3-7, Ephesians 4:11-12).

• We believe in the divine personhood of the Holy Spirit and His present day ministry to believers, which includes the sovereign distribution of Spiritual Gifts to believers for empowerment for service in the contemporary church. (I Corinthians 12).

• We believe in Jesus Christ as the sovereign giver of Spiritual Gifts to the church.  We believe that Spiritual Gifts are given for the perfecting of the Saints, for the work of ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ and are given without regard to ethnicity, social class or gender. (Ephesians 4:7-12, Galatians 3:26-28).

• We believe in the formal, intentional praise and worship of almighty God as a proper spirit-led corporate acknowledgement and response to His person and work. (Psalms 46-50, John 4:23).

• We believe all believers are exhorted to be filled, walk in, be led by and live in the power of the Holy Ghost. (Ephesians 5:18, Galatians 5:16, 18)

• We believe that it is God's desire that all believers live their lives under the control of or being continuously filled with the Holy Ghost. We believe there are many fillings and there is to be an ongoing filling ministry of the Spirit in the life of the believer for empowerment to effectively and victoriously live a life that glorifies God. (Acts 1:8, 2:4, 3:10, 4:8, 4:31).

• We believe the Holy Ghost fills or empowers believers for service in the Kingdom of God. Being filled with the Holy Ghost is the result of continuing submission to Divine power and control. (Acts 1:8, Ephesians 5:18).

• We believe all believers can be baptized with the Holy Ghost and all believers "should be" filled with the Holy Ghost. (I Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 5:18).

• Holiness is lifestyle and is a reality that must be walked out daily (Romans 12:1-2)
